Soar to greatness! 2023 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League MENA Fall Split and Team Falcons' participation officially announced

The MENA region’s biggest Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament is back! MOONTON Games has officially announced the 2023 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Middle East and North Africa (MPL MENA) Fall Split. The hunt for the region’s top teams will commence from 16 August, with more than US$100,000 in cash and Diamonds (in-game currency) up for grabs. The winning team will also earn themselves a coveted spot at the upcoming M5 World Championship in the Philippines, where teams from all over the world will battle for a slice of the US$900,000 (~SAR3,300,000) pot.

The 2023 MPL MENA Fall Split follows the successful 2023 MPL MENA Spring Split, which saw Team Occupy emerge as Champion after beating Okami Esports 4-3 in a fiercely contested Grand Final. The tournament saw a staggering 101,500 hours of watch time, according to Esports Charts. Team Occupy went on to represent the MENA at the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) 2023—a first for the region—where they battled against the best teams from North America, Southeast Asia, and Turkey.

Team Falcons swoops into the fray

Team Falcons has confirmed that they will compete at the MPL MENA Fall Split. The Saudi Arabian esports organisation is one of the largest and most competitive in the MENA region and is expected to be a major challenger for the tournament crown. With such a fierce reputation, Team Falcons will certainly be marked by many teams.

Muhammed Al Mutairi, General Director of Esports at Team Falcons, said: “We believe that the quality of MPL MENA is paramount in shaping the future of esports in the region. With our unwavering commitment to excellence, we’ll strive to elevate the competition to new heights, setting a standard that inspires players and fans alike. Team Falcons brings not only unmatched skill and dedication, but also a deep understanding of the game and its community. We aim to create an environment where talent flourishes, teamwork prevails, and unforgettable moments are made. Our ambitions extend beyond victory; we seek to leave a lasting legacy, fostering growth and nurturing the next generation of esports champions.”

Jaime Cruz, Head of Esports (MENA & South Asia) of MOONTON Games, said: “We’re delighted at how rapidly the esports scene has grown since we began investing into the region with the launch of MPL MENA at the start of 2022. Our belief in the talent and potential of the local teams here has never been stronger and the arrival of Team Falcons will further elevate the competitive quality and entertainment value the league will bring to the community.”
