The new supersampling technology from the US-based colossus increasese Redout 2’s performances up to 50%

Saber Interactive and 34BigThings have released a new update for Redout 2, the supercharged sequel to the acclaimed anti-gravity racer, that adds integration for Intel XeSS, a new supersampling tech from the US-based giant headquartered in Santa Clara, California.

“As videogame developers, it is inevitable for us to be tech enthusiasts as well, ” says Valerio Di Donato, CEO of 34BigThings, “and we are very proud and excited for the chance to collaborate with a partner of this importance in order to integrate XeSS in our flagship title.”

Redout 2 had already featured in a video on Intel’s official YouTube channel that illustrated how this innovative technology works in detail (which can be viewed here). Thanks to this innovative supersampling method, Redout 2 can reach up to 50% more frames per second (FPS), drastically increasing the game’s flow.

“Redout 2 is a game in which you have to take decisions very quickly” continues Di Donato “and even a handful of frames can be decisive in order to win; XeSS immediately revealed itself as a technology we could count on to improve the game’s overall enjoyment.”

The update is now available on Steam and the Epic Game Store.
