Playoffs schedule unveiled

The top six teams have been seeded in the Season 7 Playoffs based on their final standing from the Regular Season. On the first day, teams in the Upper and Lower Brackets will compete in Best-of-Three (BO3) matches to progress to Semi-Finals. The Semi-Finals will feature a Best-of-Five (BO5) format where the winners will progress to the final stage of the competition. The Playoffs will end off with the Grand Finals in a Best-of-Seven (BO7) showdown where the MPL Singapore Season 7 champion team will be crowned.

The Playoffs kick off on 14 June, Friday, at 10am SGT, with defending champions, Team Flash, taking on league debutants, Asteris. The former boasts an all-star lineup for the Playoffs, including last season’s Playoffs MVP “Jaymark “Hadess” Lazaro, alongside this season’s new additions, Yeo “Diablo” Wee Lun and Jankurt “KurtTzy” Matira. They will challenge Asteris, who look to cement themselves as the season’s dark horses despite being newcomers.

The second match of Day 1 will see Bleed Esports go up against three-time champions RSG SG. In their most recent clash, Bleed Esports narrowly defeated RSG SG with a 2-1 victory. RSG SG will be determined to stage a comeback at the Playoffs and bounce back from last season’s disappointment of missing out on the championship title!
