The gamescom latam cosplay lounge by essence will offer complete beauty and production resources, democratizing access to cosplay culture at the largest gaming event in Latin America

gamescom, the world’s largest gaming event, is expanding its borders to Latin America with an important novelty for fans of pop culture and cosplay. The first edition, which will take place from June 26 to 30 in São Paulo, will have a space dedicated exclusively to cosplayers: the gamescom latam cosplay lounge by essence, a top-selling brand in Europe that invests in products to give people the confidence to express who they are.

In an unprecedented initiative, the cosplay area promises to be one of the highlights of the event. Besides being a meeting point for cosplay enthusiasts and fans, the lounge will feature the support of COSSUP, a team specialized in services for cosplayers. The area will also offer support with makeup, wig and hair adjustments, and costume modifications, ensuring that participants can maintain their perfect visuals throughout the event.

“The introduction of such a significant space in partnership with essence, a market leader for the gamer and cosplay community, reflects our commitment to providing a special and inclusive experience for all participants,” says Gustavo Steinberg, CEO of the event. “It will be wonderful to see the creativity and passion that the cosplayers will bring to the first gamescom latam.”

Democratic access and complete infrastructure

Entry to the gamescom latam cosplay lounge by essence is free for all event attendees, with no additional payment required beyond the entrance ticket. The space is open to everyone who needs to set up or dismantle their productions, offering an infrastructure designed for the needs of cosplayers, including workstations, mirrors, and lockers for safe storage of personal items and costumes.
