Den of Wolves is a co-op heist FPS techno-thriller where players team up to operate as criminals for hire in the conflicts between rival corporations in Midway City, executing industrial espionage, sabotage, and assassinations or “unauthorized errands”, as the corporations in the unregulated innovation zone call them. The game was first announced at the The Game Awards in December of last year.

Den of Wolves is currently in development, and the team at 10 Chambers is putting a lot of resources behind it to not disappoint anyone waiting for the ultimate co-op heist game. In the mini-documentary released today, they dive deeper into how they’ll work with music for the game – a crucial ingredient to make you feel bad ass while executing heists together with your friends.

While Simon Viklund, composer for Den of Wolves, is well-known for making PAYDAY: The Heist and PAYDAY 2 sound great, he will bring some friends to make Den of Wolves sound even better. In the video Simon can be seen in Los Angeles, collaborating with percussionist Greg Ellis who has previously worked on movies such as Argo, Transformers, and Godzilla. But 10 Chambers is not only bringing in talent from Hollywood to work on Den of Wolves, Simon Viklund will also collaborate with Jamie Christopherson, known for his outstanding work with the soundtrack for Metal Gear Rising.

“Greg Ellis’ style of percussion is great for Den of Wolves because of the game taking place in the Pacific Ocean. When we met up in Los Angeles he brought all these amazing percussion instruments and we basically recorded this bank of original instrument sounds that I’ll now be able to weave into the music of the game – which you can hear in the track we released today, named INJECT”, says Simon Viklund.

The first music track from Den of Wolves named INJECT released today and is available on all major music streaming platforms. Working together with choreographer Matilda Fleberg they’ve also created a dance performance and music video.

“We continue to work together with talent also outside of the gaming industry. Matilda Fleberg is an amazing choreographer, having worked with brands such as Nike and Dior. She did a fantastic job creating this choreography for Simon’s track. Experiencing it live was insanely cool, so I’m happy we’ve recorded it and edited it into a music video to share with everyone”, says Oscar J-T Holm, Chief Strategy Officer at 10 Chambers.
