Developer Melancholia Studio and publisher Thermite Games proudly announce the 1.0 version of their medieval gothic and gory action-strategy roguelike Corpse Keeper is set to release on Steam and Epic Store on May 28. Introducing a fresh take into the action roguelike genre, Corpse Keeper promises an adrenaline-fueled experience that will keep players on the edge of their seats. Along with the launch of the 1.0 version, a historical low price will be available with a 40% discount on both platforms from May 28 to June 11.
After one year of rigorous development and fine-tuning, Melancholia Studio is thrilled to unveil the complete version of Corpse Keeper. Players will be able to immerse themselves fully in the heart-pounding action, immersive atmosphere, and engaging strategic gameplay that have captivated audiences during Early Access.
| Embark on a grim journey through the medieval City of Lenste, assemble a trio of rotting corpses for one-on-one confrontations with various opponents in the dungeons. Manage dozens of playable characters, each with unique traits and fighting styles, as you fend off decay and upgrade their attributes. Engage in realistic sword-fighting mechanics, harvest fallen foes’ flesh and bones to extend your own undead soldiers’ lives. Battle time itself, carefully manage resources for exploration and combat, as with each run in the dungeon, the decaying process of the corpses worsens. Adapt to challenges with a rotating cast of ghoulish grunts and explore six eerie areas in the hunt for the demon presiding over the city.
